Parent Representatives Meeting Minutes
Parent Representatives is a group of parent who meet each Half Term.
The purpose of these meetings is to act as a conduit for communication from the school to parents and vice versa. It is intended to be a collaborative process to discuss and feedback on systems and strategy so that the school and parents can work more closely together as we all have the same vision, namely to ensure the best education and learning for the children at Swing Gate Infant School and Nursery.
Good communication is vital and as such the Parent Representatives assist the school in providing communication to all parents. And in turn they listen to the views of parents and represent them at the meetings.
The meetings are attended by the Headteacher and up to two Parent Representatives from each class.
Parent Representatives also assist the Friends of Swing Gate who are responsible for leading fundraising at Swing Gate Infant School and Nursery.
